Autonomous cars have received a reality check. Timescales for delivering a full, Level 5 vehicle have now been reconsidered and made more realistic, with delivery being split in two – ADAS can be expected soon, full autonomy less so.

With this in mind, what’s the outlook for 2020? Is the focus just improving ADAS, or is full autonomy still progressing at speed? And where will self-driving vehicles make their impact first?
