Cyber Security: Interview with Cosimo Senni Guidotti Magnani

Steven Wicks | 10/24/2022

How to Deal with Cyber Security in a Practical & Systematic Way as Regulations Come into Force and the Number of Attacks Increase

As anyone in the automotive industry would know, regulations like UN ECE R155 and R156 have come into force and are now an absolute requirement for automakers who want to sell vehicles in the EU, as well as there being the ISO/SAE 21434 standard to comply with, which leads OEMs and Tier-1/2s to assess how to deal with cyber security and increasing attacks systematically.

Auto IQ speaks to Cosimo Senni Guidotti Magnani, Connected Vehicle Cyber Security Senior Manager at a leading European Tier-1 company to ask more on this matter, including the steps that need to be taken, the risks and solutions and finding out what the roadmap for preventing cyber-attacks will be.

Cosimo will be part of the Cyber Security Awareness and Culture panel discussion at Automotive Cyber Security Europe 2022, focusing on increasing cyber security awareness in the industry as well as another discussion on dealing with cyber security in a practical and systematic way as the regulations come into force.
