Steve Lietaert is President of HELLA Corporate Center USA, Inc. Based in Plymouth, Michigan, Lietaert is responsible for the company’s corporate business operations in the United States, including sales and marketing, finance and controlling, human resources, and purchasing.  Additionally, he is responsible for HELLA’s automotive sales and marketing in North America and leads the engineering and program management activities for the Business Division Lighting in the United States.

Prior to his current position, he served as vice president-key global OEM account sales and was responsible for the growth of all its customer account based activities, worldwide. He directed strategic sales planning and promotion for both the automotive lighting and electronics product groups. 

Lietaert joined HELLA in 2000, and has held a variety of leadership positions, including vice president of sales and marketing, vice president of program management, product group director, engineering director, product leader, and sales account manager. 

Previously, he performed in both sales and engineering teams at Faurecia, Lear Corporation, and Yazaki North America 

Lietaert holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University. He has led and presented at several automotive industry conferences, in the United States, serving as both a keynote speaker and panelist.
