Barna Szimandl

Dr. Barna Szimandl earned a PhD in vehicle engineering in 2015 and has over 16 years encompassing experience in brake development in the automotive industry. Szimandl joined ThyssenKrupp Presta in Lichtenstein in 2016. In his current role as Senior Manager Breaks, he is responsible for leading a cross-functional global team to develop and build brake systems using Electro Mechanical Brake technology. Before joining ThyssenKrupp, Szimandl worked at Knorr-Bremse, a manufacturer for brake systems for commercial vehicles, where he developed solid knowledge on by wire technology including electro mechanical actuation, control and safety.
