Lei Zuo is the Herbert C. Sadler Collegiate Professor of Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He completed his BS in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. He worked for four years in industry before returning to academia. Lei Zuo won a few prestigious awards including ASME Leonardo da Vinci Award and SAE Ralph R. Teetor Educational Award. His research on energy harvesting vehicle suspensions won a R&D100 Award.
