Dr. Tobias Bender is originally from Germany and obtained his undergraduate and PhD degrees at the University of Goettingen. He did post doctorate work at Philipps University of Marburg, University of Hamburg, and the University of Melbourne (AU). His background is in transportation lubricants at Deutsche Pentosin-Werke GmbH and later at Fuchs Lubricants. Tobias is currently Sr. Scientist at Fuchs Lubricants in Harvey, IL and is responsible for R&D support for all automotive fluids including E-Mobility and suspension fluids.
