Alison started her career at Jaguar Land Rover, then joined Freescale Semiconductors (now NXP) in 2008. After first working as a Systems Engineer, she then moved into the role of Functional Safety Architect in 2013. Alison has broad experience in producing safety analysis and safety documentation for NXP microcontrollers, and lately has taken the role of Functional Safety Manager. By working closely with the wider product development team she ensures that all evidence is complete for a product’s safety assessment, and also supports customers to develop their safety concept. In addition, Alison is part of the NXP UK STEM team, aiming to encourage and support the next generation of engineers.
