Systems Engineer & VP EMEA VWAY Co., Ltd.Stephen believes passionately in the safe and secure operation of electric-vehicles on all our roads and cities. Key to meeting this objective is having the right design, development, and deployment processes in place for product creators – products also known in engineering terms as cyber-physical systems with enhanced cybersecurity. For many years Stephen has assisted software tools and platform vendors who enable the automotive engineering community as they innovate to deliver safer vehicles with greatly enhanced functional safety and cybersecurity, opening-up new revenue streams as their creators deliver software-defined vehicles. Stephen is a product sales scale-up expert, having assisted companies such as Polarion (acquired by Siemens, 2016); Jama Software (acquired by Insight Partners, 2018), more recently assisting Intland Codebeamer (acquired by PTC, 2022). Previously Stephen has worked at Wind River (pre/post IPO), leading WR global activities in the measurements/controls market sector, as well as having successfully founded, grown and divested several private companies along the way
