Jake Tanana joined Polaris in 2021 as the Director of Software Engineering and leads the team responsible for internally developed vehicle software and hardware. Prior to Polaris, Jake worked at various automotive Tier 1’s including Hella, Harman, and Aptiv in increasingly responsible software and product engineering roles. His previous teams have delivered market leading solutions in the areas of Body/Comfort Electronics, In-Vehicle Infotainment Systems, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems to Global OEM’s. Jake is the holder of one U.S Patent. Outside of work, Jake enjoys college football, reading, hiking, fishing, and fitness. He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and his master’s degree in computer science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
