Eric Traube is a Senior Engineer and Technical Lead with the National Highway Safety Administration, in the Crash Avoidance and Electronic Controls Division. He manages research activities related to advanced driver interfaces, crash avoidance technologies, impaired driving, automated driving, driver distraction, vulnerable road users, and vehicle to vehicle communication. Before joining NHTSA, he worked on strategic planning for advanced technologies for a major automotive manufacturer.
