Christine Luetzkendorf is a Policy Adviser on Fluorinated Gases at the Berlin-based NGO Environmental Action Germany (Deutsche Umwelthilfe, DUH). Since 2021, she has been advocating for the phase-out of F-gases in multiple applications, including mobile air conditioning, heat pumps and switchgear. She is particularly focused on promoting suitable natural alternatives to replace F-gases, not regrettable synthetic PFAS substitutes. She is leading the charge on the European and national level, driving the transition forward through regulatory processes like the EU F-gas regulation and the PFAS restriction dossier. Christine holds a Master of Science degree with honours in biosciences from Utrecht University and has also specialised in science communication.
