Ahead of the Automotive Tire Technology 2023, Düsseldorf, Germany, 24th, 25th & 26th, January 2023 conference, Automotive IQ interviewed Rizwan Ullah - Principal Engineer, Tyre Monitoring at Volvo Car Corporation, to learn more on Tire Pressure Monitoring System(s) (TPMS).

In this interview, Rizwan details how TPMS work and what regulations or requirements are put in place for these systems. As the industry continues to develop autonomous and electric vehicles, updates must be made to all aspects, including the tires; the need for systems to be put in place for reporting low tire pressure and other problems to the driver is becoming essential.

Rizwan is part of a panel discussion at the event: Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems - Technologies to Predict & Reduce EV Tire Wear and Predict Mileage.
