In the summer of 2022, Automotive IQ hosted the 14th Braking Systems and the 14th Steering Systems conferences, where 120 peers working across the braking and steering industries connected at the Crown Plaza Congress Hotel in Frankfurt.
After countless online events during the pandemic, doors were opened to face-to-face learning and interacting for the attendees with a series of presentations, and panel and roundtable discussions. It’s here where attendees could network and discuss the key theme of next-generation technologies in fine detail, including the developments in steer-by-wire & brake-by-wire systems.
The braking industry is experiencing a revolutionary phase in the development of new technology and adapting to the change in requirements, whilst evolving architectures are creating new challenges for braking experts. Similarly, the steering industry is exploring the
reliability & availability of steer-by-wire systems, where challenges are arising in reducing cost, weight, volume & power consumption.
